Boxes are ancient.
Boxes have been used to hold the precious objects of a civilization, dreams, mysteries, a sacred passage. 

The series is a living timepiece moving from the most basic box to the deconstructed conceptual box extending beyond the delineated framework moving through light over time. 

Found, handmade, or sleek metal objects, each is tied as a body by their relationship to the function of dichroic glass and natural light. The minimalist nature of the series provides a starting point for the viewer to contemplate the forces at work as the shape of light color change over time, changes that occur hour by hour or day to day, all taking place within the concept of a box.

The box is not an enclosure, rather a magical portal, which can house an uncharted journey through space over time to the infiniteness of the universe within each of us.
